U.S. Navy Technicians wanted. Local Equal Opportunity Employer seeks personnel with recent experience as a U.S. Navy Maintenance Technician in Electronic and Hull, Mechanical, & Electrical (HM&E) systems. Applicant must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance and pass pre-employment drug screening. Analyze, organize, plan and administer various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs of moderate complexity.
The position analyzes contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics and related reports to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements. May develop logistic plans; identify, prioritize and assess key logistic assets and infrastructures; assist in development of policy, procedure and guidelines; monitor inventory and analyze requirements. May perform as a task or project team leader. May be required to perform classroom and On-The-Job (OJT) training in Logistics
Minimum requirements are: High School diploma or equivalent. 12 years experience in U. S. Navy logistics and maintenance support.
U.S. Navy Supply or Maintenance Technician with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) level II certification and Material Maintenance Management (3M) documentation experience. Proficient in use of technical manuals and drawings. Maintenance Support Center (MSC) technician and experience with Configuration Data Manager Database – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) a plus. Ability to apply knowledge of field to carry out assignments. Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practices. Highly proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation application usage, and electronic mail programs. Ability to use and understand verbal and written communication in order to accurately post, carry out and understand assignments, or convey/exchange routine information.
